Blizzard timing: How much longer will the snow continue? See hour-by-hour radar

It’s been snowing for hours. And it’s still set to keep snowing for hours.

The New York City area started getting slammed by a powerful snowstorm Sunday, and it will continue well into Monday. Some in the tri-state had already been nearing a foot of snow during the overnight hours, and could expect to see plenty more by the time the snow has moved on. Parts of Long Island and the Jersey Shore could see two feet.

Snowfall rates up to 3 inches an hour and gusty winds will greatly reduce visibility and likely reach blizzard criteria (especially in Suffolk County) by the morning.
