Strong winds and even the chance for tornados loom Monday afternoon and evening.
Some of the storms in the afternoon could be severe and bring isolated flash flooding, along with powerful winds — strong enough to bring the threat of a tornado. A tornado watch was issued for nearly the entire state of New Jersey except for the northeast counties until 7 p.m.
