Team USA already won gold in the team event for the second consecutive Winter Olympics. Now some of its members hope to cash in individually.
The team competition was the first of two chances for U.S. repeats. The other? A gold in men’s singles. Nathan Chen, who won that event at the last Winter Olympics, isn’t competing in Milan Cortina. Instead, we have Ilia Malinin, whose performance clinched the gold medal for Team USA, Alysa Liu, and a host of others.
