The U.S. came up just short of adding to their medal count on Monday, but Team USA has set itself up to potentially claim multiple medals Tuesday.
Switzerland earned their second and third gold medals of the 2026 Winter Olympics with their respective victories in the men’s team combined in alpine skiing and the women’s freeski slopestyle.
Germany took the gold in men’s ski jumping normal hill, Japan won gold in women’s snowboard big air, and Dutch speed skating star Jutta Leerdam — fiancée of American boxer and influencer Jake Paul — won gold in the women’s 1000m.

What medals has Team USA won so far?
The U.S. won their first two medals of the Winter Olympics on Sunday, both of which were golds: In the women’s downhill for alpine skiing, and in the team event for figure skating.

Those were the only medals won for Team USA as of Monday afternoon. Speed skater Brittany Bower narrowly missed out on the bronze in the women’s 1000m, but that was as close as the U.S. would come to a medal on Tuesday.
